Interests
I have a few interests outside of my courses. Firstly, I have been competing and mentoring in robotics for almost a decade now. Ever since I started FRC in high school, I have been hooked. Before that, I was always interested in mechanical things, how to design them, and how they function. I am also into cars and motorcycles. I have been taught how to work on motorcycles, how motors function, and general preventative maintenance. I also play video games on my PC and various other consoles when I have the free time to do so. Another hobby of mine is photography, mainly automotive photography, as I am constantly at car shows.
Strengths and Weaknesses
I do believe I have very little weaknesses. my weaknesses would have to be organization. I believe that organization is something that can always be improved upon. In terms of strengths, I have a few that I always like to highlight. Firstly, my ability to learn things rapidly. the other strengths I have are being creative, responsible and collaborative.
What Do I Bring to the Table
I bring many skills to the table for any team. I have experience in fabrication and design, and this is a passion of mine. I have spent almost a decade working on and with robotics teams. This has allowed me to hone my skills in engineering, design, fabrication and research. I also have valuable experience in project management from courses taken at Queen's University and robotics.
My Future
I have a few goals for the future. first, I want to acquire my P.Eng. Secondly I want to work in one of three of these fields, either robotics, automotive or military research and design.
